Harlow music lovers are in for a treat this autumn with an exciting series of traditional jazz and swing concerts set for the ARC (St John’s Arts Centre, St John’s walk, Market St. Old Harlow, CM17 0AJ). The season commences on Saturday 29th September at 3 pm with ex Harlow drummin’

man, John Petters Dixie Five and a programme of hot Dixieland.

Featured in the line-up will be star trumpeter, Gary Wood, clarinet and soprano saxophonist, Duncan Batchelor, piano professor, Martin Litton and Harlow’s own bass ace, Keith Donald.

Admission is just £12. Get there early – for this is guaranteed to be a concert to remember for those lucky enough to attend.

Both Petters and Donald recorded a new CD with the swing violinist Ben Holder and guitarist Jim Douglas, which came about as a result of the exciting gig at the Arc in July. The CD will be released in October.
